Publishing details for the pour-over video

Three titles, a description and chapters from the transcript

    1. Titles

Five pour-over mistakes and a recipe you can repeat (51 characters) Plain: the five mistakes plus the recipe at the end.

Your brew time tells you how your pour-over will taste (54 characters) Surprising point: the timer tells you the taste before you sip (03:31).

Measuring pour-over with a scoop? Use a scale instead (53 characters) Mistake one: the scoop, which the video says fixed more cups than any other change.

    2. Description

Pour-over tasting sour or hollow at home? It usually comes down to one of five mistakes.
We fix them one at a time and finish with a recipe you can repeat every morning.

We cover weighing your coffee instead of using a scoop, adjusting the grind by taste (sour, go finer; bitter, go coarser), water just off the boil, the bloom, and reading the roast date and storing your beans. Then you watch a full brew on the scale with the timer running, and get the whole recipe in one place: 15 g coffee to 250 g water, a 30 g bloom and three pours, done in two and a half to three and a half minutes.

    3. Chapters

00:00 Five mistakes behind sour pour-over
    00:26 Mistake 1: measuring with a scoop
01:00 Mistake 2: grind too coarse or fine
01:40 Mistake 3: water too hot or too cool
02:18 Mistake 4: skipping the bloom
03:00 The full pour and target brew time
03:44 Watch a timed brew on the scale
05:28 Mistake 5: old beans and storage
06:12 One recipe to stick on the fridge
06:54 The beans and the free brew guide

    4. Check

    • At 03:22 the video moves from how to pour to how long the brew should take. I kept that inside "The full pour and target brew time" because it is about the same pour. If you want it to have its own chapter, add 03:22 How long the brew should take. Both parts would then be 22 seconds long.
    • At 07:09 the video turns to asking for comments. The transcript doesn't show where the video ends, so I can't tell whether that part reaches 10 seconds. I left it in the last chapter.
    • The video says sour or hollow cups come from these five mistakes but never ties "hollow" to one mistake in particular. That's why "hollow" only appears in the opening line and isn't linked to any one fix.

About this item

Paste the transcript of your video and get everything YouTube asks for when you publish: three title options, a description whose first two lines stand on their own, and chapters taken from the real timestamps.

We built it for the last ten minutes before you hit publish. Every line comes from what you said in the video, so the title never promises something the video does not deliver.

What you get

  • Three title options, each built on a different point from the video
  • A description whose first two lines work on their own
  • Chapters that start at 00:00 and follow YouTube's chapter rules

Good fit

  • Creators who publish a long video every week and write the description last
  • Businesses with a YouTube channel and no one to write the metadata

Not for

  • Shorts, which do not use chapters
  • Videos without spoken words

You are helping me publish a YouTube video. Write its title, description and chapters from the transcript below.

Channel: {{channel_name}}
Who the channel is for: {{audience}}
Links for the description: {{links}}

Write these four parts, in this order.

1. Titles. Three options, each under 60 characters so search results do not cut them off. Each one
says what the viewer gets, using words from the transcript. Make one plain, one built on the most
surprising point in the video, and one built on a mistake the video fixes. Under each title, say
in a few words which point it uses.

Requirements

You bring

  • The transcript of your video with timestamps, such as the one YouTube or your editor exports
  • The links you want in the description

Tested on

VerifiedTested in the last 90 days
  • Claude Code · Claude Opus 5.512 Oct 2026

Known limitations

  • It works from the transcript only. It cannot watch the video, so on-screen moments with no words are not in the chapters.
  • Chapter starts follow the transcript's timestamps, so a transcript with a timestamp every few minutes gives rough chapters.

Questions

Where do I get a transcript with timestamps?
On YouTube, open your video, then the transcript panel under the description, and copy it with the timestamps showing. Most editors, such as CapCut and Descript, can also export one as a text or subtitle file.
Will the chapters work on YouTube?
The prompt follows the rules YouTube publishes for chapters, which we checked when we wrote it. The first starts at 00:00, there are at least three and each runs for at least 10 seconds. Paste them into the description and YouTube picks them up.
Will it make up a better hook than the video has?
No. Titles and the description only use points the video makes, so viewers get what the title promises.
