Your house filter roast in a pour-over video

    Acme Studio

    to Northwind Coffee

    Hi Northwind team,

Your house filter roast has already been in two of our videos, and we were not paid for either.

The idea: a pour-over video where we dial in a recipe for that roast on camera, then show your two-weekly bean subscription as the way to get the same beans at home.

Our viewers brew at home and ask every week in the comments which beans we use. Both times your roast appeared, they asked where to buy it.

For a sense of how they act: a paid video we made for a grinder brand in March 2026 drew 240 clicks on its link in the first 30 days.

Our media kit and rate card are attached. Are you open to a 15 minute call next week?

Media kit and rate card. Every price is worked out from the creator's own targets, with the sum shown under it.

    Private, do not send

    • Your floor for the dedicated package: 14 hours × $60 an hour = $840
    • The dedicated price on the rate card: $276
    • The card is below your floor, by $564.

Going below it means each dedicated video pays you $564 less than your minimum for the same 14 hours of work, which is about $19.71 an hour instead of $60.

The series has the same gap: three videos at 14 hours each come to 3 × $840 = $2,520, and the card asks $828.

Decide this before the card goes out. The pitch email names no price, so if you raise your dedicated video target, only the rate card has to change.

Private: the floor. Kept apart from the rate card. Here it found the creator's own target priced a video below their minimum for the time.

About this item

A pitch is easier to say yes to when it is short, specific and comes with numbers the brand can check. This prompt writes the pitch email, a one-page media kit and a rate card with three packages, all from your own analytics, plus a follow-up for day 7.

It never invents a number or borrows a market rate. Prices are worked out from your target, with the sum shown, and a private floor tells you the lowest price that still pays for your time.

What you get

  • A pitch email under 150 words with two subject lines
  • A one-page media kit built from your real numbers
  • A rate card with three packages and usage rights
  • Your price floor, kept apart under "Private, do not send"
  • A day 7 follow-up

Good fit

  • Creators with a steady audience pitching their first or fifth brand
  • Creators who undercharge because they price on gut feel

Not for

  • Agency or talent manager contracts
  • Accounts that cannot share their analytics

More

Questions

Will it tell me what to charge?
It works prices out from your own target and your average views, and shows the sum. It never uses market rates or benchmarks, because those vary too much to trust. If it cannot price something from what you gave, it asks you.
What is the floor?
The hours a sponsored video takes you multiplied by your minimum hourly rate. Below that, the deal pays less than your own time is worth to you.
Will the brand see my floor?
Only if you send it. The floor comes in its own part headed "Private, do not send". Leave that part out when you copy the media kit and rate card into the document you send.
Can I send the media kit as a PDF?
Yes. Paste the media kit and rate card into Google Docs or any document app, leave out the private floor, add your logo and export it as a PDF.
